Fire & Security Estimator – A.P.E Fire & Security Ltd
We are trusted fire and security experts based in Bristol. We work covering predominantly sites throughout the South West, but not limited to this area. We currently boast a great team made up of expert engineers and a highly knowledgeable office team, where we specialise in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security solutions.
The role involves managing the design and estimation process for installations, modifications, and tendering projects. You will be managing the completion of surveys and quotations to our high standard, whilst planning and co-ordinating the estimation process. We are currently seeking and enthusiastic an experienced individual in the industry to join our team of surveyors.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
-Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
-Confidently complete system design and prepare all documents to meet company standards
-Competent understanding of current industry regulations and codes of practice
-Carry out site surveys
-To work with and maintain the existing company estimating department procedures
-Understand and observe the sales management process
-Attend all weekly project meetings
– Ensure lead generation, sales and technical documentation supports initiatives to displace
-Excellent written communication as well as first class phone manner
-Engage with installation team to ensure project design and customer expectations are
-A solid working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel & Word

The ideal candidate would be already in a sales or senior position in the Fire & Security industry with a proven track record of successfully selling fire and security solutions to a variety of contractors. We do not want you to just fill a gap, we want you to join our team bringing your expertise, ideas, and motivation to the table.
Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete a number of background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completion of this background checks.
