We understand how important it is to protect your business and ensure the safety of your staff. Our intruder alarm systems can be integrated with panic attack buttons, CCTV systems, access control and smoke screen products.

We install and support a number of established, reliable brands of security systems, all connected to our central station via Dualcom multi-path signalling. These trusted and proven brands include Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy, Pyronix and many more, and can all be adapted to best suit your business’ specific requirements.

How to Know What System and Level of Security You Need for your business

As mentioned above, it is crucial that your system is customised specifically for your business property and use. As you can imagine each business will have different risks and potentially vulnerable spots on their premises.

A survey or security assessment of your organisation with one of our security experts will help you to identify the requirements of your commercial security system and any potential areas which may need covering, as well as optimising security for multi-location organisations. A pair of fresh eyes and industry knowledge will make a difference in the design of your security solution.

When investing in a commercial security system it is worth speaking to your insurance company. Whilst you can potentially get a discount on your insurance there may also be certain criteria that you are required to meet prior to this. Due to certain assets you store, the amount of stock or even the area can affect the level of security that your insurance company require from you.

What Systems Can We Offer?

Commercial Security FAQ's

There is no one answer for this one. Here at A.P.E, we design custom systems to suit each individual property. For each business they will have different:

  • Property use
  • Security requirements
  • Vulnerable areas
  • Fire risks

Due to this, we design each system on a case by case basis, and each system is individually priced. If you are interested in having a new system installed but don’t know where to start? Get in touch today for your FREE, no-obligation survey today.

Depending on the system you have in place and where it is installed will mean there are different standards and recommendations for the aftercare of the system.

We recommend that all systems are serviced on an annual basis. This can elongate the life of your system and ensure constant security to your site. Prevention is better than cure and can help identify potential issues before they become costly and cause downtime of your system.

If your security system is monitored it will require having maintenance carried out at least once per annum but may require it more than this if it is monitored to a high standard. Additionally, if your system has police response, this requires a minimum of two visits per annum.  This is because having your system regularly maintained keeps the system working well and reduces false alarms. For obvious reasons the police cannot be attending constant false alarms from a system.

Ideally you will require a security system that covers your entire site, however, there are key places to prioritised. These will be areas such as places with high traffic, entrances, rooms where safes / confidential information is held and restricted areas. Potentially vulnerable areas should be identified and covered with the right system.

Having a survey with one of our professional team members can help to identify vulnerable areas and what systems will keep your business secure. It is important to remember that it is important to keep your site secure whilst people are on premises and when the premises are vacant.

As mentioned above, we individually design our systems for each of our customers. Depending on the system required, size and level of security. Use, operation, and layout can all help decide what the most suitable system to have in place is.

Upgrading an existing system can be a cost-effective way to increase your security. As with any technology, newer systems are constantly coming out and old systems decrease in quality.

Updating your systems can keep your site security high whilst being a cost effective option. Existing cables can be utilised, reducing cost and time required.

The main benefits are:

  • Protection of assets
  • Deter Criminal Behaviour
  • Obtain Insurance Premium Discounts
  • Provide Internal Security

The answer is YES!
