Security work for the UK’s oldest existing girls’ school.
Sector: Schools & Academies
Project Duration: 2 Months
Location: Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol
Date Completed: 2017
The Redmaids’ School, founded in 1634, became a Bristol institution and the oldest existing girls’ school in the country. We have been working with this school for many years and have installed many fire & security systems throughout the site.
In the summer of 2017, a new design & build project named Redland Hall was constructed on the rear of the Sixth Form building, and A.P.E Fire & Security were involved at the consultant stage of the project to help design all the new fire & security systems that needed to be implemented.
Once complete, all the systems were successfully networked site-wide to rest of the School’s fire & security infrastructure.
Work completed:
- Fire Alarm Installation
- Intruder Alarm Installation
- PC-Based Access Control
- Class Change Systems
- CCTV Systems
